Best way is to reset Windows-Apps-Installed Apps-Sort by storage (WhatsApp will be top)-WhatsApp-Reset. When reviewing the files in the shared folder, some videos are repeated 80+ times, I never forwarded that video. Small 11Mb files became 930Mb space used. WhatsApp should review this memory issue and resolve.
