SIM University ( UniSIM) was a private university in Singapore between 2005 and 2017. The university was established and managed under the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). It was the only private university in Singapore after Nanyang University.
In 2005, SIM University (UniSIM) was a private university under the Singapore Institute of Management Group (SIM) established by Cham Tao Soon who became the first chancellor and chairman of UniSIM.    In 11 November 2016, the SIM governing council voted in favour to bring the university under the ambit of the Ministry of Education.
