The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females, there were 102.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.8 males.

By area, population, and population density, it is the smallest town in the county; and is the second-smallest town by population in the Commonwealth, with only Gosnold having fewer residents.
Glenn F. Stock Arena is a 2,000-seat indoor arena located in Monroe, Michigan. It is used for sporting events, concerts, conventions, and trade shows. It is part of the Monroe County Fairgrounds. Stock Arena is also used for graduation ceremonies of Monroe County's high schools.
