Marvin Travis Runyon (September 16, 1924 – October 3, 2004) was an American business executive and civil servant. He had a long career as a manufacturing executive at Ford Motor Company until his retirement, then joined Nissan as head of North American operations.
Born Marvin Thomas Richardson, Pro-Life was born in Carbon County, Wyoming to a Latter Day Saint family. He played basketball in high school and attended Brigham Young University on an athletic scholarship but was eventually cut from the varsity basketball team.
Nissen trained under German physicians Ludwig Aschoff and Ferdinand Sauerbruch. He completed the first pneumonectomy by a Western physician in 1931. In 1948, he performed an abdominal surgery that extended the life of Albert Einstein by several years.
