There's a bunch of websites that sell courses for like $30 for a package that meets state requirements - I used elitelearning.com, not sure if I can recommend it for actual learning because the writing of the courses was not fantastic, but if you're a fast reader you can get your "16 hours" in, like, 2-3 real life hours.

    The snow made things more complicated but yes, I agree with other posters that the first week is busy with getting access, required testing, facility & unit orientations, etc. Expect that nobody at the facility talks to each other and that the schedule for each in-hospital day may differ because someone forgot to assign you access, didn't give you the right online modules, etc.
