Cabarrus County, North Carolina Cabarrus County ( / kəˈbærəs / kə-BARR-əs) [1] is a county located in the south-central part of the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2020 census, the population was 225,804. [2] The county seat is Concord, [3] which was incorporated in 1803.
