On July 5, 1961, the company changed its name to the Halliburton Company. In 1963, Halliburton was the first company in Oklahoma to receive the Presidential "E" for Export flag in recognition of notable contributions to foreign trade. Halliburton opened a 500,000 sq ft (46,000 m 2) manufacturing center in Duncan, Oklahoma, in 1964.
Halliburton designed the aluminum suitcases which are now manufactured by Zero Halliburton. "An Uncommon Man;" Erle P. Halliburton Monument in Memorial Park, Duncan, OK; erected – 1993.
