Seven Oaks School Division ( SOSD, [1] or colloquially 7 Oaks) is a school division in the north-west area of Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. Established in July 1959, it takes in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of West Kildonan, Garden City, the Maples, Riverbend, and Amber Trails, as well as the Rural Municipality of West St. Paul. [2]
It is part of the Seven Oaks School Division, and houses grades 9–12. The Garden City motto is "Participation and Excellence." Garden City Collegiate offers two programs: the English Diploma and the French Immersion Diploma. Garden City is the only high school in Seven Oaks School Division that offers both programs to all students.
