Shu (kingdom) Shu (Chinese: 蜀; Pinyin: Shǔ; former romanization: Shuh[1]), also known as Ancient Shu (Chinese: 古蜀; pinyin: Gǔ Shǔ) in historiography, was an ancient kingdom in what is now Sichuan Province.
