The controlling interest in the company is owned by the Leon family, while some shares are traded publicly on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The company has stores in all provinces of Canada.
Those two stores are still open, despite the United Furniture Warehouse name being retired in 2018. As of January 2014, the company had reduced its size yet again.
