In the late 1980s, playwright Jaime Meyer worked with Hmong youth to produce Hmong Tapestry: Voices from the Cloth. In 1990, Meyer and director Nkauj'lis Lyfoung formed Pom Siab Hmoob Theatre (PSHT).
