The National Commission for Safai Karamcharis (NCSK) is currently a temporary non-statutory body [1] that investigates the conditions of Safai Karamcharis (waste collectors) in India and makes recommendations to the Government of India . NCSK was constituted 12 August 1994 as a statutory body for a three-year period under the NCSK ACT, 1993.

[10] Churchu CD block is bounded by Sadar, Hazaribagh, Daru and Tati Jhariya CD blocks on the north, Mandu CD block, in Ramgarh district, on the east, Dadi CD block on the south and Barkagaon CD block on the west. At the time of formation, Jharkhand state had 18 districts. Later, six more districts were carved out by reorganizing these districts. The 23rd and 24th districts- Khunti and Ramgarh (carved out of erstwhile Ranchi and Hazaribagh District respectively) were made a district on 12 September 2007.
