Cummings High School (commonly known as Cummings High School) [1] is a public high school serving grades 9–12 in Burlington, North Carolina, and is a part of the Alamance-Burlington School System. Athens Drive High School was the first high school in Wake County built for school and community use. It was the first high school built after the merger of Wake County Schools and Raleigh City Schools. It was designed by architect F. Carter Williams and his brother Turner G. Williams. The price tag of the ADHS building was $7.1 million.

Its current interim principal is Dr. Larry Obeda. Dr. Obeda succeeds the role of Mr. Christopher Madden.
The school is named for the historic Green Hope School, built in 1927. This rural school included grades 1 through 12. In 1952, it was renamed Green Hope Elementary School when the higher grades were reallocated to nearby Cary or Apex High Schools. On August 15, 1963, at 1 AM, the old school caught fire and was completely destroyed.
