Construction on Mahoning Valley Race Course, located on Ohio Route 46, began on May 30, 2013. Mahoning Valley Race Course opened on September 17, 2014. In 2013, the transfer of the Beulah Park license was approved for a new facility in Austintown, Ohio, a suburb of Youngstown. The $125 million facility will be called Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, and will create approximately 1,000 jobs. As with the Dayton facility, video lottery terminals were approved.
