In 1996, Armour and Behringwerke merged, and became Centeon. In 1999, Centeon changed its name to Aventis Behring after the parent companies, Rorer and Hoechst AG merged to become Aventis. In 2004, CSL completed its acquisition of Aventis Behring for $925m, today known as CSL Behring. [37]
