Countries by total wealth, 2022 (2023 publication) National net wealth, also known as national net worth, is the total sum of the value of a country's assets minus its liabilities. It refers to the total value of net wealth possessed by the residents of a state at a set point in time.

The net average wealth is calculated by subtracting the debt from the mean financial wealth. The adult financial wealth is the total value of financial worth, or the sum of their overall financial assets minus liabilities.

The 38th annual Forbes list of the world's billionaires found a record 2,781 billionaires with a total net wealth of $14.2 trillion. This is an increase of 141 members and $2 trillion from 2023, which held the previous record for the highest net worth gain on the list, surpassing the $900 billion record set in 2022.
