Georgia Gwinnett College opened on August 18, 2006. It has grown from its original 118 students in 2006 to approximately 12,000 students in 2019.
The library at Agnes Scott College was an original Carnegie library built in 1910. The building was demolished in 1986. A new library was authorized by the board of trustees in 1935 and opened in the fall of 1936.
