Instructure, Inc. is an educational technology company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. It is the developer and publisher of Canvas, a web-based learning management system (LMS), and Mastery Connect, an assessment management system. Prior to its IPO in 2021, the company was owned by private-equity firm Thoma Bravo .
The platform this will be offered on is Canvas. Students can access much of the recommended reading via the library website, or via the college e-system known as Nexsis, or via the college’s e-learning platform, Canvas. The college provides a Wi-Fi network for all students across the campus including the residences.
CU Online employs Canvas by Instructure. Canvas is Cloud based, and CU Denver uses it for its completely online courses as well a supplement for the on campus courses in the form of blended learning, which means it doesn’t distinguish between supplemental course use and blended/hybrid courses.
