The Clark County School District (CCSD) is a school district that serves all of Clark County, Nevada, including the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City; as well as the census-designated places of Laughlin, Blue Diamond, Logandale, Bunkerville, Goodsprings, Indian Springs, Mount Charleston, Moapa, Searchlight, and Sandy Valley.
It was founded in 1962 and operates a 148,000-square-foot church building in Henderson, NV. [1] Central also has several other locations around the world. [2] In 2013, Outreach listed Central as the 9th largest church in the United States with an attendance of 21,055. [3] Jud Wilhite is the senior pastor of Central.
The original Las Vegas High School opened in 1905 with a tent in the city. The school made a new campus in 1930 that opened in 1931. After 62 years A new campus was made in 1992 that opened in 1993. Las Vegas Academy of the Arts: Region 2, East Pigeon: Magnet school. The school is located in the buildings of the original Las Vegas High School.
