East Bangor is a borough in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, with population 1,124 at the 2020 census. It is in the Lehigh Valley metropolitan region, which had a population of 861,899 and was the 68th-most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of the 2020 census.
It is the only high school in the Bangor Area School District. As of the 2022–23 school year, Bangor Area High School had a student enrollment of 887 students and 60.65 classroom teachers on an FTE basis for a student–teacher ratio of 14.62, according to National Center for Education Statistics data.
