The 2007 Towson Tigers football team represented Towson University in the 2007 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by 16th-year head coach Gordy Combs and played their home games at Johnny Unitas Stadium. They are a member of the Colonial Athletic Association. They finished the season 3–8, 1–7 in CAA play.
The 2000 Towson Tigers football team was an American football team that represented Towson University during the 2000 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Towson tied for last in the Patriot League. In their ninth year under head coach Gordy Combs, the Tigers compiled a 7–4 record. [1] The Tigers outscored opponents 299 to 216.
Meggett played college football at Division II (1986)/ Division I-AA (1987–88) Towson State University. In his senior season, Meggett led the team in rushing yards (844) and touchdowns (12), while also setting a school record for average yards per kickoff return (32.2) and kickoff return touchdowns (2), earning him the Walter Payton Award.
