The 8th Psychological Operations Group (Airborne) or 8th POG (A) is one of the United States Army 's active Psychological Operations units alongside the 4th Psychological Operations Group (Airborne). The unit was activated August 26, 2011. The activation ceremony was held on Meadows Field at the U.S. Army Special Operations Command headquarters.

As of around June of last year, 4th POG is now known as the 4th Military Information Support Group. To my knowledge 2nd and 7th POGs are still POGs, but I believe they'll be swapping names as well (as evidenced by the article entitled something like "Last Change of Command for a Psychological Operations Group" on the CAPOC website)
In 1972 the 19th Military Police Battalion was formed as a headquarters for the Military Police companies; the 52nd Engineer Battalion joined the Group in July; and the 4th Military Intelligence Company and B Company, 75th Infantry joined the Group in August. The Group was redesignated as the 43rd Corps Support Group in 1973.
