The Université Constantine 1 (Arabic: جامعة قسنطينة 1; French: Université Constantine 1), formerly Mentouri University of Constantine, is a university located in Constantine, Algeria. Designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer , the university was built from 1969 to 1972.
The titular head of the university is the Chancellor, who is the President of Zimbabwe. The university is governed by a University Council, comprising the university's chief officers, representatives of the Senate, staff and students, nominees of the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education and representatives form various sectors of commerce and civil society.
The Zimbabwe Institute of Legal Studies (ZILS) in Harare, is the first and currently only college awarding law courses in Zimbabwe.It was founded in 2009 by Godwills Masimirembwa a lawyer by profession and former Chairman of the ZMDC. [1]
