Harris Rosen (born September 9, 1939, in Manhattan, New York) is an American businessman, investor and philanthropist.He founded Rosen Hotels & Resorts in 1974, and serves as the company's president and chief operating officer.
The turning point would come in 2000 when Harris Rosen, owner of Orlando-based Rosen Hotels & Resorts and long-time supporter of the university, donated $10 million in cash and 25 acres in land (valued at $8 million), along with an additional $1.1 million in cash for scholarships, to the program.
