Bridgeport is a city in eastern Harrison County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 9,325 at the 2020 census. [2] It is part of the Clarksburg micropolitan area in North Central West Virginia. Bridgeport had its beginning in pre- American Revolutionary War times.
