West Springfield High School is a public high school located in unincorporated Fairfax County, Virginia, at 6100 Rolling Road, and is part of the Fairfax County Public Schools system. West Springfield (often referred to as WSHS) enrolls students from grades 9–12, offers the Advanced Placement program and currently enrolls over 2,400 students.
Robinson opened in September 1971, taking its students from Oakton High School, Wilbert Tucker Woodson High School, West Springfield High School, and Fairfax High School. It was the second of Fairfax County's large "superschools," or secondary schools, which housed grades 7–12.
The high school has its origins in a school built on the town common in 1820. That school appears on the West Springfield seal. The town's 1875 town hall, located where the senior center is now, included classrooms for the town's first high school. In 1915, the cornerstone was laid for a dedicated high school building, now known as Cowing School.

West Springfield Middle School opened in 1998 for grades 6–8. West Springfield Junior High School was designated an elementary school and named the Philip G. Coburn School in memory of a well-loved townsman who was a former educator and longtime editor of the West Springfield Record.
South County High School serves grades 9–12. SCHS unofficially has a rivalry with Hayfield, West Springfield, and Lake Braddock, which are other schools in FCPS. South County's main building mirrors that of Westfield High School.
