JCube, from Jurong East MRT station. JCube was a shopping centre located in Jurong East, Singapore, that operated from 2 April 2012 to 6 August 2023. It used to house an Olympic-size ice rink and Singapore's first IMAX theatre in the suburbs. It was built on the former site of the Jurong Entertainment Centre.
Shaw Organisation is a film distribution company and cinema chain founded by brothers Runme Shaw and Run Run Shaw who went to Singapore in the 1920s to expand their family business founded by Runje Shaw. The last day of movie screenings at Yishun 10 was 11 August 2010 to undergo a three-month renovation from 12 August 2010 to upgrade the multiplex. In November 2010, the renovation had been completed and multiplex was renamed GV Yishun, which was Golden Village first "green" cinema complex. [3]
