Scarisbrick Hall is a 150-room mansion built between 1830 and 1860 by the architect Augustus Pugin, who also worked on the Palace of Westminster. [1] The Scarisbrick family lived on this site from 1238 to 1946. The Hall is an example of residential Gothic renaissance architecture and is a Grade I listed building of special architectural interest.
