University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin, is a federal government -owned university in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. [2] [3] The university sits on an expansive area of land, about 15,000 hectares in the ancient city of Ilorin; making it the largest university in Nigeria and one of the largest in Africa by landmass.
Ilorin is home to more than two universities, the University of Ilorin popularly known as Unilorin and Al-Hikmah University ilorin, it also has Kwara State University popularly known as Kwasu within its metropolitan area. The Federal Agricultural and Rural Management Training Institute, which operates a research farm, it is located near the city.

Unilorin Secondary School is the staff school of the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. The school is a private school. The school is a private school. The school used to be located near the senior staff quarters in the University permanent site, but it was relocated in 2012 to the mini campus of the University.
