www.lenawee.mi.us. Lenawee County (/ ˈlɛnəweɪ / LEN-ə-way) is a county located in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 99,423. [2] The county seat is Adrian. [3] The county was created in 1822, from territory partitioned from Monroe County.
This year marks a few milestones in Lenawee County history. The first modern settlements in what would become the communities of Blissfield, Deerfield and Tecumseh were made 200 years ago in 1824.
The Musgrove Evans House is a private residence in Tecumseh, Michigan, USA. It was designated as a Michigan Historic Site on October 29, 1971, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 16, 1972. [1] [2] It is recognized as the oldest residential structure in Lenawee County and one of the oldest in the state of Michigan.
