John Lachs (July 17, 1934 – November 14, 2023) was a Hungarian-born American philosopher. He was Centennial Professor of Philosophy at Vanderbilt University, where he began teaching in 1967.
Rust earned a BA in Mathematics (Phi Beta Kappa) at DePauw University, and an MBA and Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He served on the faculty of the University of Texas at Austin and Vanderbilt University before coming to Maryland.
Dr. Collins joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1957. [1] He established the division of hematopathology there, training several pathologists who went on to become renowned in their own rights. [2]
David A. Weintraub is an American astrophysicist and is the Professor of Astronomy at Vanderbilt University. Early life and education. McNamara received his B.G.S. from the University of Kansas in 1979 and his Ph.D. in psychology from Yale University in 1984. His Ph.D. advisor was Robert Sternberg. He started his career as assistant professor of psychology at Vanderbilt University in 1983. He was promoted to associate professor in 1989 and to Professor in 1995.
Hans Reiner Stoll (December 11, 1939, in Regensburg, Germany-[1] March 20, 2020, in Nashville, TN) [2] was the Anne Marie and Thomas B. Walker, Jr. Professor of Finance and Director of the Financial Markets Research Center at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. He was a Public Director of Interactive Brokers Group, Inc.
Casagrande did her postdoctoral study at the University of Wisconsin–Madison prior to becoming an assistant professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1975. In 1982, Prof. Casagrande became an investigator into the vernal keratoconjunctivitis and held leading positions at VKC.
He was emeritus distinguished professor of mathematics at Vanderbilt University and the honorary editor in chief of Algebra Universalis. He received his PhD in 1946 at UC Berkeley under supervision of Alfred Tarski. [2] [3] In 2012, he became a fellow of the American Mathematical Society. [4]
