History. The school was known as Doylestown High School after the Doylestown and Chippewa Township districts merged in 1917, until 1971 when the new high school was built. The name change reflected the trend that most of the district's residents lived within Chippewa Township and not within Doylestown's limits.
The school offers associate degree and technical diploma programs, as well as other certifications and adult continuing education programs. In the 2004–05 school year, 6,306 students were enrolled in programs and 15,978 students in continuing education. CVTC's president is Sunem Beaton-Garcia. See also.
