Oral Roberts University (ORU) is a private evangelical university in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Founded in 1963, the university is named after its founder, Charismatic Christian preacher Oral Roberts . Sitting on a 385-acre (1.56 km 2 ) campus, ORU offers over 70 undergraduate degree programs along with 20 graduate programs across six colleges.
The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles are the sixteen intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Oral Roberts University, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
