Swisshome is an unincorporated community in Lane County, in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is along the Siuslaw River northeast of Mapleton, on Oregon Route 36. The community's name was conferred in honor of a local Swiss family. [1] Swisshome post office was established in 1902. [2] The Coos Bay Rail Link passes through Swisshome.
Trent is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. The CDP is in central Lane County, along Rattlesnake Creek, a north-flowing tributary of the Middle Fork Willamette River. The Middle Fork forms the northeast boundary of the CDP.
