Jharkhand ( / ˈdʒɑːrkənd /; [8] Hindi: [d͡ʒʱɑːɾkʰəɳɖ]; lit. 'the land of forests') is a state in eastern India. [9] The state shares its border with the states of West Bengal to the west, Chhattisgarh to the east, Uttar Pradesh to the southeast, Bihar to the south and Odisha to the north.
Rituraj was born into a Kayastha family on 29 November 1980 in Ranchi, Jharkhand (erstwhile Bihar) to Ravindra Kishore Sinha and Rita Kishore Sinha. He completed his initial education at Don Bosco School in Patna before attending The Doon School in Dehradun for his higher secondary education.
