The district serves nearly 20,000 students throughout the southwest quadrant of Franklin County, including the cities of Galloway, Georgesville, Grove City, and Urbancrest.
The building became Starling Middle School when the new West High School opened. [7] The new West High School opened in 1929. It was designed by prominent Ohio architect Howard Dwight Smith who also designed Ohio Stadium. [8] West High School continues today at its current location at 179 South Powell Avenue.
Beechcroft High School is a four-year high school (grades 9–12) located on the north side of Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. Beechcroft was first opened in 1976 as a six-year junior/senior high school. At that time, school enrollment peaked at 1,200+ students. Current enrollment is 658 students (2022-23).
