Morgan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 13,802, [1] making it the third-least populous county in Ohio. Its county seat is McConnelsville. [2] The county was created in 1817 and later organized in 1819. [3] It is named for Daniel Morgan, an officer in the American Revolutionary War.
Barnard ventured into his own short lived dry plate manufacturing concern with Robert H. Furman in 1882–83. In 1884, the Barnards moved to Painesville, Ohio and opened a studio with partner, local artist Horace Tibbals, which utilized their own manufactured dry plates. In 1888, George closed his business and his family moved to Gadsden, Alabama.
