Radnor High School is a public high school in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Of all high schools in Pennsylvania , Radnor is ranked 3rd by U.S. News & World Report, and 1st by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The Buckeye Valley High School Barons was established in 1963 as a consolidation of the Elm Valley (Ashley) Aces, the Radnor (Local) Trojans, and the Scioto Valley (Ostrander) Rockets. The high school building located on Coover Road in Troy Township still exists to this day. It has had one expansion in 1997 and was added onto once again in 2010.
Radnor Township School District is a school district that serves Radnor Township, Pennsylvania and has 3 elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Due to the affluent demographic of the Main Line that the Radnor Township School District belong to, many children attend private schools, often in the Inter-Academic League .
The two schools became co-educational in September 1986, assuming the name Archbishop John Carroll High School. The school is staffed by as diocesan priests, Sisters of St. Joseph, but majorly lay personnel. The current student body numbers approximately 1,095 (2015). On April 28–29, 2018 Archbishop Carroll celebrated 50 years as a school.

[3] It was founded by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 1957, and was named after the first American naturalized citizen saint, Mother Frances Cabrini.
