I am having trouble updating my VW SD card to update my Discover Media Sat Nav. Initially I downloaded the DiscoverCare program and inserted my SD card, which detected the card, ran the program but had issues creating a backup. So looking at the forums I downloaded the 7zip file and copied over the europe maps.
I managed to re-format and copy over the backup. Discover are recognised it as a VW SD card (thank god). It then crashed again, so I'm vary wary of trying to update it again in case it crashes mid update. I think I'll wait for a more stable update of the program. I've put the card back in the car, and it now says "checking navigation data".

Download update , about 25 gb, unzip it to the sd card and put into your pro. Go to car settings and software update . It may not recognise the card straight away, she take out and try again .

I’m sure I’ve read in more than one place that Nav came as standard on this car! (7.5 facelift / 18 plate)
