Carol Creighton Burnett (born April 26, 1933) is an American comedian, actress, and singer. Her comedy-variety show The Carol Burnett Show, which originally aired on CBS, was one of the first to be hosted by a woman. [1] [2] She has performed on Broadway, on television, and in film of varying genres, including dramatic and comedic roles.
Hamilton began his career as a singer and composer with a vocal group, The Skylarks. With The Skylarks, he appeared on many early television programs, including Dinah Shore 's. [1] He became the producer of The Garry Moore Show in 1958, where actress Carol Burnett was a regular. He also appeared in two 1964 episodes of The New Phil Silvers Show .
