The WLL meetup was a success, thanks to everyone for coming! We had about 10 people show up, including three experienced Wikipedians (and one experienced Wiki-source admin!). We added several facts to St. Louis-related articles, and then tried to do some DYK reviews, before being kicked out of the room for the next talk.
Meetup St. Louis 4 is a follow-up of WP:Meetup 3. It will fall near the date of Wikipedia's 11th year celebration and also the 1-year anniversary of St. Louis' first-ever meetup. Participants of October's meetup are invited to join us again. Another meetup will be scheduled June 23 for strictly social purposes.

Although the 6-7,000 rare diseases have many different causes, those who have them share difficult paths to diagnosis, a lack of information about their disease once it is diagnosed, and limited access to knowledgable medical support.
