Baba Guru Nanak University. Baba Guru Nanak University ( Punjabi and Urdu: ; bābā gurū nānaka yūnīvarasiṭī) is a public university located in Nankana Sahib, Punjab, Pakistan, the birthplace of Guru Nanak. [ 1] On 28 October 2019, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan laid the foundation stone of the university. [ 2][ 3]
Nankana Sahib is among the most important religious sites for the Sikh religion. [2][3] It is located about 91 km (57 mi) west of Lahore and about 75 km (47 mi) east of Faisalabad.
