The Old Mill District is a historic area formerly occupied by two lumber mills in Bend, Oregon. Encompassing approximately 270 acres (110 ha) along the Deschutes River, the Old Mill District is now a mixed-use area known for its shops, galleries and restaurants. The City of Bend, Oregon, was founded in 1904, and lumber businessman Tom Shevlin donated the land to the city in 1919. The park was then established in 1921 by the City of Bend and named after the donor. It has been managed by the Bend Park and Recreation District since 1974. In 2019, Hixon Crossing Bridge located in the park was dismantled.
