Frank Blake. Francis Stanton Blake (born July 30, 1949) is an American businessman and lawyer, who was the chairman and CEO of The Home Depot from January 2007 to May 2014. Prior to this he worked for the U.S. Department of Energy and General Electric. He was a longtime protégé of Robert Nardelli .
From Tuamgraney, in County Clare, he was born to Michael and Mary Blake and is the youngest of three children. [1] He was educated at Scariff Community College. [2] He attended the annual amateur drama festival circuit each year from the age of four years-old in his home town, with plays staged in the school hall.
