I went into iCloud today, to test the find my iPhone feature. (My iPhone next to me, in a WIFI network and 1-2 bars of 3G coverage). When I tried to find my iPhone, it said that my location services was not turned on. I I checked my iPhone, went into settings then location services...
I signed into iCloud using my iPhone 13 mini which was my prior phone before with my same iCloud account and removed the iPhone 14 Pro entry from there and then fully signed out. After this I signed back into the main iPhone 14 Pro with my iCloud account and for some odd reason it only asked for my iPhone 14 Pro passcode and nothing else.

I lost my iPhone a month ago and when I was able to access another of my devices, I sent the remote wipe command on Find Me. The phone is still showing as “Erase pending” a month on. I also asked my mobile phone operator to disable the SIM as obviously I didn’t want anyone to have access to this. I also changed my Apple ID password.
I noticed multiple devices when forgotten were not being removed from Find My. This was a pain. I had to try multiple pairs and restarts and ultimately was able to rmeove them only from the web version of Find My and not from the Mac app. 2. I reset network settings on all of my devices. 3. I signed out and back into iCloud on all my devices. Pain.
