The Korea Army Training Center (abbreviated KATC; Korean: 육군훈련소) is a South Korean military training institution for the Republic of Korea Army basic training. It is also commonly known as Nonsan Training Center or Yeonmudae.
Army Training Units (ATUs) were originally created as Regional Training Centres (RTC) - which were in turn created from Brigade Specialist Training Teams (STT) - to provide basic training and specialist courses for the British Army Reserve (formerly the Territorial Army).
