Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. de C.V. (also known simply as Bimbo) is a Mexican multinational food company with a presence in over 33 countries located in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. [1] It has an annual sales volume of 15 billion dollars [2] and is listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange with the ticker BIMBO.
The group was named Trio Bimbo by Hamid Gruno of TVRI. The trio performed Consuelo Velazquez 's "Besame Mucho" and Elpido Ramirez's "Malaguenna Salerosa". [1][2] In 1969, Trio Bimbo submitted to Remaco several songs written by Iwan Abdurahman, including " Melati dari Jayagiri " ("Jasmine from Jayagiri") and " Flamboyan " ("Flamboyant").
