History. The present Livonia High School was established in Livonia in 1915. [3] The following year, 1916, this school was combined to also include all of the students from Valverda and Dreyfus schools. The present Livonia High building was built in 1936. It was originally a two-story brick building. The second floor was lost to a fire in 1971.

History. Adlai E. Stevenson High School was built in 1965 to accommodate the rising population of Livonia with the increased migration of people from Detroit to the suburbs during the 1960s. It was dedicated on October 24, 1965, United Nations Day, and the 20th anniversary of that body's founding, by Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey.
Between 1237 and 1290, the Livonian Order conquered all of Courland, Livonia, and Semigallia. In 1298, Lithuanians took Karkus Castle north of Riga, and defeated the order in the Battle of Turaida, killing Livonian Land Master Bruno and 22 knights. [4] In 1346, the order bought the Duchy of Estonia from King Valdemar IV of Denmark.
