The ECHO benefit provides a government cost-share limit of $2,500 per month, per eligible family member. In addition to other TRICARE ECHO benefits, beneficiaries who are homebound may qualify for extended in-home health care services. There is/was an option for military retirees called "Tricare for Life" which covered retirees and eligible dependents. As I understood it, it was the same as Tricare standard/basic, but for retirees. I don't know how it works once Medicare kicks in at age 65. It would probably improve the article if this was worked into the article.--
