The laptop is not an HP nor is it a Dell which is the other version of Accuweather offered in the Microsoft store. All of the Accuweather apps now offered in the Microsoft store say they are for windows 8. It would appear that if I cannot find the older version of Accuweather somewhere I'm going to have to find a different weather app.
For the interim, kindly go to Control Panel & see if there are any programs called AccuWeather or something. Else, right-click on Start > go to Settings > Apps > under the "Apps & features" search box, type in a Accu or Accuweather > click on it & uninstall. Reboot your PC once done. I hope this helps.
3. Right-click the Accuweather row and click 'Open file location'. 4. This should bring up a folder with all of the contents. On the folder toolbar at the top, click on the 'Dell' tab which should be a single jump back up. 5. Go back to your task manager, click Accuweather and click the 'End Process' button.
Original title: Accuweather . I accidentally exited the accuweather icon on the screen and I would like to have it back. I found the file that it suppose to be in, but it says its empty. Can someone please help me. Thanks.
The problem is that there's no way to uninstall it (I don't think). It won't show up in Task Manager and it's not an app you can remove in the control panel. There's also no options to uninstall in the app itself, it only has 'Change location' and 'Exit'. Pressing Exit will remove the widget, but at startup it will launch automatically.
It's annoying. But I can't get rid of it because I can't figure out what it is. It's not a pop up, I don't think, because it doesn't look like a new Chrome window, and it's not in my list of allowed Chrome popups. Nothing named "accuweather" appears in my list of Chrome extensions. Nor in my list of apps, nor as a process on my task manager.
JE. Jenny94. Created on February 3, 2022. my pc location is showing the wrong location. my pc has decided that my computer is in a different city from where I am. How do I get it to recognize my location. I have already gone into settings and the default location is set correctly. However, when I go to other sites, it thinks I'm somewhere else.
When I open Edge it shows me weather from the wrong location not where I actually live. How do I change this?
Answer. Greg Carmack. Independent Advisor. Replied on December 8, 2022. Report abuse. Hello Marie. This setting in Windows 11 is at Windows Settings > Apps > Advanced App Settings > Choose Where to get apps > Anywhere. If that's already set then you may have bought a PC that has S mode, which only allows Store apps to be installed.
You can go to Settings > Apps > Advanced app settings. For "Choose where to get apps", you can choose "Anywhere". If the above option is not available for you, please type winver in the search on the taskbar and hit enter. In the pop up, see if it says S mode.
